Returns and refunds
1. Statutory right of withdrawal for consumers
Consumers can withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. All details, the model withdrawal form and our online withdrawal function are on our right of withdrawal page.
2. 30-day return guarantee for all customers
In addition, we voluntarily offer all customers, consumers and businesses alike, the option to return unused products in their original, complete packaging within 30 days of delivery. Products that have been installed, wired or cut to length are excluded from this voluntary guarantee. This return guarantee does not limit the statutory right of withdrawal: within the 14-day withdrawal period, consumers can withdraw in any case and are only liable for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
3. How to return
Use the withdrawal function on our right of withdrawal page or email sales@clightstore.com with your order number and the products concerned. We confirm receipt without delay and send you the return instructions. Send the goods back within 14 days of notifying us, well packed, to: C-Light Projects BV, Bekaertlaan 6, 3650 Dilsen-Stokkem, Belgium.
4. Return costs
You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. If the return is due to a defect, a wrong delivery or transport damage, we bear the costs and provide a prepaid return label or collect the goods.
5. Refunds
In the case of a withdrawal, we refund all payments received, including the standard delivery costs, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of sending them back, whichever is earlier. Returns under the voluntary 30-day guarantee are refunded within 14 days of receipt of the goods. We use the same payment method you used for the order.
6. Exclusions
Products made to your specifications or clearly personalised, such as LED signage, illuminated letters, linear trunking configurations or custom cable lengths, cannot be withdrawn or returned unless they are defective.
7. Defects and warranty
Consumers are entitled to the statutory guarantee of conformity of two years. In addition, our products carry a commercial warranty of up to 5 years as stated on the product page. If a product is defective, contact us with your order number, photos and a short description; we will repair or replace it, or refund the price.
8. Transport damage
Please check your delivery on receipt, note visible damage on the carrier's delivery note and report damage to us as soon as possible with photos, so that we can claim it from the carrier and send a replacement quickly. For consumers, this does not affect your statutory rights. Business customers must report visible damage within 48 hours and hidden damage within 7 days of delivery.
