A hall needs a lot of light from a great height, spread evenly over the floor and the racks, in fittings that cope with dust and damp. The European standard EN 12464-1 asks for around 100–150 lux in storage areas, 300 lux for packing and dispatch and 300–500 lux in workshops and production. Which luminaire gets you there depends mostly on the mounting height.
